Jackie Ife - Home Manager

I have been the Registered Manager at Peterlee Care Home since August 2014 and I have over 25 years’ experience working with the elderly. I oversee the day to day running of the home. I value the members of staff who make a very strong team, with many having been employed for a considerable amount of time, across all departments. I am passionate about providing a person centred approach to care, ensuring a high service of care is maintained at all times, all staff within the home have completed mandatory training and work to high standards of care at all levels. The residents within the home have individual needs which are met by highly trained staff, I will endeavour to provide a high quality service where residents and their families are priority.

Pamela Bellingham - Head Domestic

I have been the head domestic for Peterlee care home since 2009 and have worked in the kitchen, in care and as a domestic. I make sure the home is clean, tidy and a comfortable place to live for all the residents.

Alison Spencer - Administrator

I have been the Administrator for Peterlee care home since 2019 and have over 20 years’ experience in care and administration work. I oversee the day to day running of all admin duties in the home and support the home manager, staff and residents. I’m the first point of contact for residents and visitors. Making a welcoming, friendly and professional support for all.

Lisa Hay - Head Chef

I have been the Chef for Peterlee Care Home since 2005. I prepare, cook and serve a wide range of meals for the residents to enjoy. I develop healthy, balanced meals catering for each individual. I monitor each resident’s dietary needs and requirement and monitor the kitchen stocks and order supplies. Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.

Karen James - Clinical Lead

I have been a nurse and Clinical lead for Peterlee care home since 2013 and have over 40 years in nursing care experience. My role involves supervising the team and supporting the home manager. I would like to think that I’m a good influence and role model in supporting staff in delivering person centred care.

Angela Rushton - Activities Coordinator

I have worked at Peterlee Care Home for over 10 Years as an Activities Co-Ordinator. I organise a full range activities for everyone to join in each day this includes arts and craft session, exercises, pampering days, day trips and out outside entertainers.
